Barb’s Journey of Resilience & Joy

Barb, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother from central Massachusetts, has faced significant health challenges, including arthritis and a recent heart attack. Despite these difficulties, Barb's spirit and her family's support have kept her determined to enjoy life's precious moments.

A Family Vacation to Remember

Organized by her daughter Chris from Charlotte, NC, Barb recently enjoyed her first-ever family vacation to Myrtle Beach, S.C. which also marked only the second time she had visited the beach in her life. This trip was more than a vacation; it was a celebration of family, resilience, and the joy of being together for the first time.

The Role of Our Beach Wheelchair

Accessibility was key to making this vacation possible. Our beach wheelchair enabled Barb to navigate the sandy terrain allowing her to participate fully in the family's beach vacation. Witnessing Barb's joy as she joined her family by the sea was a poignant reminder of why we do what we do.
